We discuss what is meant by Diaspora, the backgrounds, contexts and the dilemma of the conditions for being considered a Diasporic writer in relation to what Satchidanandan talks about in the essay. 'Home' an often conflicting concept for the diaspora is also discussed. We look at what identifies as Indian, various perspectives through which diaspora can be looked at, and some examples relevant to the concepts talked about in the essay. We interpret the essay in our own ways also while looking at some opinions we came across. So this episode talks about our thoughts and interpretations of Satchidanandan's Essay.
