福岡県田川市の行政情報、各種手続案内・イベント情報・ニュースなど、地域に密着したホットな情報を発信する番組です。 新たな発見があって、郷土への関心や理解が深まるきっかけにもなるかもしれません。 こちらの音源は、声の音声ボランティア「ひまわり」で制作しております。 ひまわりは視覚障害のある家族のために市の広報を録音した人がいたことがきっかけで、１９７６年に田川市で音訳奉仕のサークルが結成しただ団体です。 市の広報紙を月１回（４・５月は２回）、社会福祉協議会の機関紙を年４回、その他、個人の要望により小説や随時市などからの刊行物を音訳してＣＤに録音し、校正編集した後に利用者に届けております。利用者からの感謝の声が一番の喜びであり、やりがいを感じています。今後は視力の低下した高齢者にも利用してもらえる方法を模索しつつ、一層音訳活動を頑張っている最中です。
