<p>Nel 1944, un contingente di circa 25mila soldati brasiliani provenienti da tutte le regioni del paese si imbarcò per l'Italia in difesa della democrazia e della libertà dei popoli. Durante tale impresa i "pracinhas", termine con cui erano conosciuti in Brasile, si sottoposero alle condizioni più avverse, misero le loro vite a rischio e alla fine, con grande eroismo, contribuirono alla liberazione dell'Italia dalle forze nazifasciste.</p>
