In Honor Of Hawk : My Long Lost Brousin, a Navy Seal and also a true Swan. A Celebration Of Life and Get Well Party 2020_02_03_-_Tucson_Arizona_uSA_American_Confederation

Keith Hawk ______ Gross is my long-lost brother. Soll Gross is my grandfather, who was born in Minsk, Pinske Gobernya, then Poland, now Belarus 'beautiful Russia', after the Russian Civil War of 1917 spilled over into Minsk. My grandfather Soll was an Independent militia man, formerly with the Green Army, until the Greens spun off into Leon Trotsky's centrist-Communist plot. Two foot soldiers from the invading Russian army came into town in Minsk one day in full force with their troops, and strangled my grandfather Soll's two best friends, one who was in the militia and another who had not yet joined because he was a conscientious objector. My grandfather Soll one day saw those same two men on the street : He strangled them both to death right in the middle of the street with his enormously strong hands built by climbing scaffolds to create the high-quality art advertising billboards he became famous for, screaming how he had killed his two best friends for no reason. He then left on a merchant boat in steerage in 1920, heading for America. When grandpa (whom we always called ''Zeyde') arrived at Ellis Island's international port of entry, he wrote in the entry manifest log that he was heading for Chicago, to see David Goodman, the father of legendary jazz bandleader and clarinetist, Benny Goodman. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Goodman Soll Gross was a graphic artist, the master artist who painted the world's tallest sign, for "Big Tire Co." in Los Angeles, a towering 65 foot sign featuring a strong man dressed as a mechanic (inspired by "Manny, Moe, & Jack", the "Pep Boys" of the original hot-rodder's auto parts store), holding straight over his head with both hands and arms straight up towards the sky, a huge "BIG TIRE", fully illustrated in great detail to show the new vulcanized rubber treads. Hawk has served his God, his Family, and his Country with great diligence, ever vigilant, ever loyal, an exemplary man to all, gracious and always sharing with true Family and friends, and a fearsome enemy to those who oppose his God, his Family, or his Country. Hawk plays very beautiful soulful meaningful guitar and sings vocals and is a lifelong friend to Grateful Dead rhythm guitarist, vocalist, and sometime songwriter Bob Weir.
