<p>Heritage 4 Health have launched a 2 -part podcast hosted by Jason Burke of Historical Belfast Podcast. Heritage 4 Health is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to develop this podcast.<br><br>The episodes chronicle personal participant engagement while spotlighting the projects mission to enrich wellbeing through heritage and environmental engagement. <br><br></p><p>Over the next two episodes, Jason will discuss with the Heritage for Health Coordinators how the program utilises historical sites to improve participants' physical activity, mental health recovery, sense of purpose and more. We’ll hear first hand from participants about their experiences engaging with nature and heritage to boost their overall wellbeing. <br><br></p><p>From cold water therapy in the Mournes to visits to the historical City of Armagh, the Heritage for Health program taps into the scientifically-proven benefits of being active outdoors while surrounded by history. You can hear insights on how environment and heritage aids health and wellbeing from both delivery and participants.
