Folge 20: Epochenjahr 1923
Hyperinflation, Ruhrbesetzung, politische Spannungen. Vor genau 100 Jahren – im Jahr 1923 – steckte das gesamte Land in der Krise. Die Menschen litten unter den Folgen des Ersten Weltkrieges. Ausgerechnet in dieser unsicheren Zeit gründeten Hoeschianer eine „Arbeiter-Sterbegeldhilfe“. Das Bemerkenswerte: Diese zunächst kleine Sterbegeldgruppe hat alle Krisen der vergangenen Jahrzehnte überdauert, denn es gibt sie bis heute. 2023 ist die Vorsorgekasse Hoesch die größte deutsche Sterbegeldversicherung. Folge 19: Hoesch-Update
Ob auf dem Union-Gelände, dem Phoenix-Areal oder der Westfalenhütte. An den bekannten Hoesch-Orten in Dortmund hat sich seit Veröffentlichung von Folge 18 viel getan – oder auch nicht getan. Während am Phoenix-See das letzte große Gebäude eröffnet wurde, auf der Westfalenhütte ein ganzes Wohnquartier entsteht und das Hoesch-Museum endlich seinen Stahlbungalow hat, tut sich auf dem Union-Gelände kaum etwas. "Smart Rhino" steht still! Wie geht es mit dem Projekt weiter? Darüber sprechen wir in der 19. Folge von Hoesch. 150.

Folge 18: Ein Stahlhaus zieht um
Ob in Hamburg, Dortmund oder auf Mallorca. Die Stahlhäuser von Hoesch sind an unterschiedlichen Orten zu finden. Doch durchgesetzt hat sich diese Art des Hausbaus trotzdem nicht. Die Geschäftsidee des Konzerns floppte. Nun sind die wenigen Stahlhäuser echte Raritäten und damit für das Hoesch-Museum von besonderer Bedeutung. Ein außergewöhnliches und einzigartiges Hoesch-Stahlhaus soll deshalb zum begehbaren Exponat werden. Doch dafür muss das tonnenschwere Haus aus Stahl einmal quer durch Dortmund transportiert werden – von Hombruch in den Dortmunder Norden auf das Gelände des Hoesch-Museums.
