"כל דבריך בנחת" – עבודה מתוך נחת והשתוות
תיאור שני סוגי עבודה על הכעס: מן הפנים (תפיסות) אל החוץ (התנהגות), ומן החוץ אל הפנים. תיקון הדיבור, והדיבור בנחת – מביאים את האדם לשלווה ומצילים מהכעס. אך אין תועלת בעבודה על הכעס עצמו – נתינת פקודות שלא לכעוס. הרב מבאר שהכעס נובע מכך שהאדם תלוי בשאיפות שלו ואינו מכיל אותן במידת ההשתוות, ולכן כשהוא לא מצליח הוא כועס. הרב עוסק גם בלימוד תורה ועבודת ה' מתוך נחת והשתוות ולא מתוך עצבנות, וכן בהנגדה בין הגבורות הקדושות הנובעות מהרמוניה, לעומת הכעס הנובע מקונפליקט פנימי.
