<p>Kris Pardo is an Astronomer, Cosmologist, and an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Southern California. With a PhD in Astrophysical Sciences from Princeton University, Kris specializes in using astrophysical data to explore gravitational waves and test theories of dark matter. </p><p>Before joining USC, Kris contributed as a Postdoc Research Scholar at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His research has been featured on science.org, PBS Space Time, and he's published many research papers. Beyond the lab, Kris is passionate about teaching and outreach, making astrophysics accessible to everyone. </p><p>At USC, he's taught an introductory course called The Universe, and currently teaches Advanced Extragalactic Astronomy, which dives into how galaxies form and evolve. <p>Dr. Lars Perner is an Associate Professor of Clinical Marketing at the USC Marshall School of Business, where he also earned his PhD in Marketing. He currently teaches a core class called Marketing Fundamentals to over 200 students each semester. </p> <p>Since being diagnosed with a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome in the 90s, often referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Lars has written and presented extensively at conferences on his own experience, on education for individuals on the spectrum, and the "big picture" of Autism. </p> <p>Lars has written two books, Scholars with Autism: Achieving Dreams, and Delightful Reflections: Quips, Conjectures, and Pontifications.</p>
