Podcast Overview

Welcome to Hunted & Haunted, a podcast exploring the darker corners of true crime and the paranormal — but never in the same episode. I’m Kori. Sometimes I’m here on my own. Sometimes with my husband or a guest host joins us. On some nights, we follow the hunted: the crimes, the mysteries, the stories that refuse to stay buried. And on others, we chase the echoes — the hauntings, the legends, the moments that make you glance over your shoulder. If you’re drawn to the unsettling, the unexplained, and everything that lingers in the dark… you’re in the right place.

Haunted & Haunted - Evidence & Echoes - Preston Castle

Preston Castle was built to reform boys who had “gone astray.”

Completed in 1894 as the Preston School of Industry in Ione, California, the institution promised discipline, structure, and rehabilitation.
In 1950s Plainfield, Wisconsin, nothing bad was supposed to happen.

It was a quiet farming town where doors stayed unlocked, neighbors waved, and people believed they knew one another.
