To the songs we hear in the middle of the cafe, and flashback to those moments in our life we wished we had been a better person to someone. To the songs that made us feel alive. To the songs that made us main character in our very own story. I Thank You. Your songs saved my life.

Film Talk #8 : The Midnight Library (2020)
Between life and death there is a library, and within that library, the shelves go on forever. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices . . . Would you have done anything different, if you had the chance to undo your regrets?

Film Talk #7 : Tick Tick...Boom! (2021)
For FilmTalk podcast, I think of it more like a voice memo first hand reaction and review rather than the cinematic science and the philosophy behind the film. I’ve got a long list of films that stuck in my mind and I want to get it all out. The list goes on for pages. Also I get to explore Wong Karwai films, including Chungking Express, Fallen Angles and Happy Together. And I’m looking forward to watching Dune, The French Dispatch, West Side Story, Licorice Pizza.
P.S. I binge watching Friends and The Big Bang Theory last year, all year round. And I love every minute of it. And isn’t it irony that I still cannot move on from Hospital Playlist.

Film Talk #6 : 3 Idiots (2009)
"Pursue for excellence, success will chase you."
3 Idiots tells the story backward revolving around the question, where is Rancho? I have heard about this film all my life, but never really had the chance to check it out. Without a doubt, 3 Idiots is one of the best movie ever made in 2000s, taken into account of well plotted storyline and how they took us along their journey. To parent who forces their children to live up to their expectation.
To children who are afraid to confront their dream. To education system and its pressure. To astronaut pen vs pencil, the innovation of history. I can somehow relate to Farhan.

Film Talk #5 : The Perks of Being A Wallflower (2012)
"We accept the love we think we deserve."
Dear friend,
I don't know if I will have the time to write anymore letters Because I might be too busy trying to participate. So if this does end up being the last letter, I just want you to know that I was in a bad place before I started high school And you helped me.
Even if you didn't know what I was talking about Or know someone who's gone through it. You made me not feel alone. Because I know there are people who say all these things don't happen. And there are people who forget what it's like to be sixteen when they turn seventeen.
And know these will all be stories someday And our pictures will become old photographs And we'll all become somebody's mom or dad. But right now these moments are not stories. This is happening. I am here and I am looking at her And she is so beautiful. I can see it. This one moment when you know you're not a sad story, You are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on buildings And everything that makes you wonder, When you were listening to that song On that drive with the people you love most in this world.
And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite.

DEMO EP#3 : Begin Again (2013)
"You can tell a lot about a person by what's on their playlist."
Isn't it true? When you are sad, you listen to sad songs and when you are happy, you listen to more upbeat songs. Your playlists express about you more than you could ever notice though that does not really apply to everyone.
