IAM – this is two worlds colliding and merging, one being deeply rooted in the international electronic music scene and the other most influential in the field of hip hop music. IAM is the ground-breaking Berlin based DJ collective of Inan Batman & Afshin Momadi. It is a fusion of Berlin's two most creative minds, which brings one of the strongest networks in the international music & fashion scene to the table. With a vision to disrupt the electronic music scene, the duo delivers a unique sound that ranges from blasting Afro Beats to lush Melodic Soundscapes with a twist of classic House Rhythms. Their first album will be released in the course of 2021.
Inan Batman is not just a DJ nor is he just a fashion visionary. He is a full-blooded musician and a DJ for over 15 years, who has been shaping the European music scene like no other. He has worked with artists like Beyoncé and Jay-Z and uses his broad network in music and fashion to create a platform for his creativity. Besides being a DJ, he is the Creative Director of his very successful brand INAN and is a fashion designer with an elevated aesthetic sense. In 2020 he founded the internationally recognized fashion label 9N1M SENSE. with his musical and creative companion Afshin Momadi. With IAM, Inan is reinventing himself and found a platform on which he can bring his vast musical experience and thirst for innovation to bear.
Afshin Momadi is a universal artist and creative living between Berlin, Ibiza and Barcelona. He is deeply rooted in the fashion world and has been instrumental in the success of various fashion brands such as Pigalle Paris and Boris Bidjan Saberi. Besides being a DJ, he is also the Creative Director of the fashion label 9N1M SENSE., which he founded with his musical and creative companion Inan Batman. Further, he also has played a key role in the ongoing global success of the electronic music brand Afterlife since its launch in Ibiza. With IAM he is giving a voice to his vision, which was shaped by many years of experience in the scene.
