Contract employee 約聘人員 ex. Our company occasionally brings in contract employees for specific projects. 我們公司有時因為特定的計畫會僱用約聘人員。 ✩employee / contract staff 指受僱者，雇員 2. Freelance 從事特約工作者，特約的 ex. My beautiful cousin is a freelance model. 我的漂亮表妹是一名特約模特兒。 3. Permanent staff 正式長期員工 ex. The company plans to hire more permanent staff after cutting some of its temporary workers. 公司裁減一些臨時雇員後，打算僱用更多正式員工。 4. Salary 固定薪資 ex. It's difficult for him to get a salary job in an economic downturn. 在經濟不景氣的情況下，他很難找到一份薪水工作。 ▶ 幾種常見的雇員稱呼 ❶ intern 實習生 ❷ temp 臨時僱員 ❸ parttime 兼職的 ❹ full-time 全職的 ✭ volunteer 義工；志願者 「志工」就是志願從事這項服務工作的人，以這項服務工作為志願的人。 「義工」是義務工作，在休假或工作休閒的空餘時間，去做不支薪的服務工作。 💡但其實「志工」及「義工」在英文裡是使用同一個英文單字喔！ volunteer (n.) 志工；義工 👉The Health clinic is relying on volunteers to run the office and answer the phones. 這家健康門診依靠志願者來負責辦公室的日常工作和接聽電話。 volunteer (v.)無償（做）；義務（做） 👉During the emergency many staff volunteered to work through the weekend. 緊急時刻，很多員工都自願週末加班。 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▶ EducationEdu level 教育程度分類- Doctorate 博士 ⇓ Master’s Degree 碩士 (Double Degree 雙學位) ⇓ Associate Degree 副學士 ⇓ High School Graduate 高中畢業生 Powered by Firstory Hosting (https://firstory.me)

   詳細的文字稿可以去部落格邊聽邊看，學習效果更好喔! https://wordpress.com/post/ilsatalk.wordpress.com/218 ✨1-1 Job Hunting Methods 求職管道Method 1- Job Fair 就業博覽會 →The organization held a job fair in New York for people over 40 who are looking to change careers. 該組織在紐約為40多個希望改變職業的人們舉辦了就業商展。Method 2- Job Search Website/ Job Boar 求職網站 補充: → Exhibition 商展、博覽會 → Exposition (EXPO) 博覽會 →Employers across the state are being inundated with applications in response to jobs posted on online job boards. 為了回應在線職位板上發布的職位，全州的雇主被大量的應用程序所淹沒。 駐解: Applications-在此為應用程式的意思，其他意思包含有申請、請求、申請書還有應用、運用、適用的意思。 ★補充說明: Applicant 申請人 Method 3- Headhunter 獵人頭、挖角者 →She was contacted by a headhunter and invited to apply for the position. 獵人頭聯繫了她，並且邀請她申請該職位。 Method 4- Newspaper "Employment section" 報紙的工作版面 → Linda saw a great job in the newspaper employment section this morning. 琳達今天早上在報紙的就業版面看到了不錯的工作。 ✨1-2 Job Ads (Job advertisement) 求職廣告 (上集) Category 工作種類 → There are three categories of accommodation, - standard, executive, and deluxe. 這裡有3種類型的房型，-標準型， 商務型， 豪華型。 Industry 工業，行業 ✓trade and industry 貿易和工業 ✓industry and commerce 工商業 Requirement 要求，必備條件，規定 → A good degree is a minimum requirement for many jobs. 很多工作的最低要求是要有一個好的學位。 → It is a legal requirement that you have insurance for your car. 為你的車保險是法律規定。 →Students who fail to meet the requirements (of the course) will fail. 達不到(這門課程)要求的學生將不能及格。 Qualification 資格，資格證明，合格證明書，證照條件，限制條件 ✧合格證書，資格證明 → You’ll never get a good job if you don't have any qualifications. 你要是沒有任何資格證明就不太可能得到一份好工作。 →Do you have any teaching/academic/legal/medical/secretarial/academic qualifications? 你有沒有教師/法律/醫學/秘書/學術的資格證明? ✧資歷，資格，條件，合格性 →Some nursing experience is a necessary qualifications for this job. 這份工作的必要條件是必須具備一定的護理經驗。 →One of the qualifications you need to work here is a sense of humour! 在這裡工作所要具備的條件之一是幽默感!
