Meet Us in Costa Rica: A Conversation with Hali Love
Why We Chose Costa Rica: A Conversation with Hali Love
What happens when a place leaves such an impression on you that you know you have to bring your people there?
In this episode, we sit down with Hali Love, ambassador of the beautiful retreat centre in Playa Negra, Costa Rica, where we're hosting our very first Inner Light Healing Collective wellness retreat in February 2027.
This retreat has a story behind it.
Jess visited this special place before we ever dreamed of hosting our own retreat and came home completely in love with the experience, the people, the energy, the surroundings, and the way the space invites you to slow down.
Our connection with Hali, along with our relationship with Inner Light teacher and fellow Collective member Karen Snodgrass, who has also taught at the retreat centre, made this decision feel even more meaningful.
In this conversation, we get to introduce you to the woman and the place behind our Costa Rica adventure.
We talk about:
🌴 What makes this particular retreat centre so special
🌊 The beauty and energy of Playa Negra
🧘♀️ Why Costa Rica is such a natural fit for a wellness retreat
💚 The story behind Hali's vision for the space
✨ What guests can expect when they arrive
🌿 The importance of creating space to rest, reconnect, and simply be
And perhaps most importantly, we talk about why where you retreat matters.
This isn't a resort we found on a booking website and decided to rent for a week.
It's a place we have a genuine connection to, hosted by people we know and trust. It's a place Jess has experienced personally, a place Karen has taught, and a place we're now incredibly excited to share with our Inner Light community.
So pour yourself a cup of tea, settle in, and come meet Hali.
And maybe you'll understand why we're so excited to say:
See you in Costa Rica. 🌴
