I rossoneri di Carlo Ancelotti che in semifinale hanno eliminato, con fatica, gli olandesi del PSV Eindhoven affrontano il Liverpool, allenato dallo spagnolo Rafa Benitez, vittorioso in semifinale nel derby inglese contro il Chelsea. Un Milan perfetto nel primo tempo. 3-0 dopo i primi 45'.
