Um þessar mundir eru 40 ár síðan Pétur Guðmundsson körfuboltamaður gekk til liðs við NBA-liðið Los Angeles Lakers. Árið er 1986 og þarna var Lakers er á hátindinum með Magic Johnson og Kareem Abdul Jabbar innanborðs.
