What if the story you know isn’t the whole story?
Welcome to Jess Intrigued, a podcast for people who aren’t afraid to ask, “but why?”
I’m Jess, and each episode takes us down a different rabbit hole. From strange history, faith and ancient texts to mysteries, true crime, science, conspiracy theories, folklore and the unexplained.
We might explore the nephilim and giants of the Bible one week, MK Ultra the next, then disappear into Atlantis, ancient gods, a strange true-crime case or a mystery that still doesn’t have a satisfying answer.
But this isn’t about telling you what to believe.
We’ll look at the documented story, explore the theories, hear different perspectives and talk about what doesn’t quite fit. Sometimes we’ll find an answer. Sometimes we’ll leave with even more questions.
Because I believe you can question something without automatically dismissing it, and explore an idea without having to believe it.
You don’t have to believe it to explore it.
So grab your coffee, put your headphones on and let’s see where this rabbit hole takes us.

Lilith: The Woman Before Eve?
What if Eve was not the first woman in the story?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we explore the mystery of Lilith — a figure found in ancient folklore, Jewish tradition, anddebated biblical interpretation. We explore:
• where Lilith first appears in ancient history• whether she was Adam’s first wife• why her story and Adam’s did not work• whether her name appears in the Bible• how later traditions transformed her into something feared• and why stories about conflict, questioning, and doubt seem to appear from the very beginning
This episode does not claim certainty — only curiosity.

Flat Earth, Faith, and the Bible | A Conversation with Jose
In this episode of Jess Curious, I sit down with Jose for an open conversation about flat earth, scripture, and why some people believe the shape of the earth matters spiritually.
We explore why he believes the earth is flat, how biblical verses influence his perspective, and why he feels modern teachings may distance people from God. As the conversation develops, we also discuss science, personal interpretation, and the difference between questioning ideas and accepting them.
By the end of the episode, I share honestly that I still do not believe in flat earth — but I also left the conversation wanting to open the Bible more and examine certain verses for myself.
This is not about proving who is right. It is about listening, questioning, and staying curious.

Chemtrails: Contrails, Cloud Seeding, and Why So Many People Question the Sky
When did the sky become something people stopped trusting?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we explore the chemtrail theory — not as fact and not as fiction — but as a question that has lingered for decades.
Why do some airplane trails disappear quickly while others stretch, spread, and reshape the sky?
How did real weather modification programs like cloud seeding contribute to public distrust?
And why do fears about control, health, and transparency keep resurfacing — especially during times of uncertainty?
We unpack:
• The origins of the chemtrail theory
• The science behind contrails and atmospheric conditions
• The documented history of cloud seeding and weather modification
• Operation Popeye and environmental warfare
• Population control fears and where they come from
• Why skepticism persists even when explanations exist
This episode isn’t about proving anything.
It’s about understanding why people can look at the same sky — and see something completely different.

Psychological Warfare: When Influence Replaced Invasion
What if the real war isn’t fought with weapons — but with belief?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we explore psychological warfare — the moment governments realized they didn’t need to control minds directly if they could influence perception, emotion, and narrative instead.
Following our MKULTRA episode, we trace how conflict shifted from laboratories to broadcasts, from battlefields to belief systems. From Cold War radio transmissions to modern information overload, we examine how fear and framing shape public opinion — often without us noticing.
This isn’t about proving a conspiracy.
It’s about understanding influence.
In this episode:
• What psychological warfare actually means
• Cold War case studies
• How influence replaced invasion
• Where ethical lines blur
• Why awareness may be the quiet counterforce
Listen with curiosity.
Question narratives — including this one.

MKULTRA Explained: The CIA’s Mind Control Experiments During the Cold War
You’ve probably heard the name MKULTRA — but what was it really?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we break down the real history behind MKULTRA, a secret CIA program from the Cold War that explored whether the human mind could be influenced through stress, drugs, isolation, and psychological pressure.
This episode is told in clear, easy-to-understand language and focuses on what is documented, what has been admitted, and where records were destroyed.
We explore:
Why MKULTRA began during the Cold War
How drugs like LSD were used in secret experiments
Isolation, sleep deprivation, and psychological pressure
CIA safehouses and Operation Midnight Climax
The story of Frank Olson
Why so many questions remain unanswered
This is not an episode about proving conspiracy theories true or false.

The Mermaid Conspiracy: Ancient Gods, Sirens & the Ocean’s Oldest Secret
What if mermaids were never meant to be proven — only remembered?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we dive into one of humanity’s oldest and most haunting mysteries: mermaids, sirens, and sea-born beings whispered about since the dawn of storytelling.
From the ancient goddess Atargatis, to Mami Wata, las sirenas, rusalki, ningyo, and the original Greek sirens, cultures across the world have described strikingly similar water beings — long before global travel or shared mythology.
But this story doesn’t stop with folklore.
We explore:
• Ancient religious texts and early mythology
• Cross-cultural mermaid legends from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas
• Modern sightings and viral footage people swear is real
• NOAA’s unexplained deep-sea recordings, including The Bloop
• How little of the ocean has actually been explored
• Underwater research stations and deep-sea anomalies
• And the theory that mermaid myths may echo something biological, cultural, or forgotten
I won’t tell you mermaids exist.
I won’t tell you they don’t.
Because the truth is…
the ocean keeps its secrets the same way the sky keeps its stars — visible, but impossible to fully touch.
So grab your headphones, drift beneath the surface, and decide for yourself.
🌊 Stay curious.

Giants Among Us: Truth or Tall Tale? | Nephilim, Ancient Giants & Modern Sightings
Across ancient scripture, forbidden texts, and modern eyewitness accounts, humanity has told the same impossible story again and again: giants once walked the Earth.
In this episode of Jess Curious, we explore the legend of the Nephilim — the mysterious giants described in the Bible and the Book of Enoch — and ask the question no one can seem to put to rest:
Were these beings myth… or memory?
We’ll journey through:
Ancient texts describing fallen beings and hybrid giants
Biblical tribes like the Anakim, Rephaim, and the infamous Goliath
Massive stone structures that challenge what we think ancient humans could build
Newspaper reports of giant skeletons that later vanished
Modern sightings — from a viral mountain ridge video to chilling military legends like the Giant of Kandahar
Along the way, we’ll examine skeptical explanations, conflicting theories, and the uncomfortable gaps where official records fall silent.
This episode isn’t about proving giants exist —
It’s about exploring why the story refuses to disappear.
Turn down the lights.
Get comfortable.
And decide for yourself…
Are giants just tall tales — or something we’ve forgotten?

Adam & Eve — Myth, Memory, or Something More?
Have you ever wondered if the story of Adam and Eve was ever meant to be taken at face value?
In this episode of Jess Curious, we return to the Garden — not just Eden, but the many gardens hidden throughout human history. What begins as a familiar creation story slowly unfolds into something much older, deeper, and far more complex.
We explore ancient civilizations that told strikingly similar stories long before Genesis was written — from the chaos-born creation myths of Mesopotamia, to flood resets that echo across cultures, to a version of Eden found in Islamic tradition where the focus isn’t punishment, but repentance and growth.
Then, we go further.
Into Jewish mysticism.
Into the Book of Enoch.
Into the Watchers, forbidden knowledge, and the idea that curiosity itself may have reshaped the world.
And finally, the story takes a modern turn — into declassified CIA documents, catastrophic cycles, and a controversial theory suggesting Earth itself periodically resets… just like the myths warned.
Is Adam and Eve a literal beginning?
A metaphor for human consciousness?
A warning about knowledge before wisdom?
Or an inherited memory humanity keeps retelling in different languages?
This episode doesn’t claim answers — it invites reflection.
Because maybe the story was never about a fruit…
Maybe it was about curiosity.
Take what resonates. Question what doesn’t.
And as always — stay curious.
