Join me as I get the details of what it was like for Black American women to take on the mid-century airline establishment. that was determined to keep them grounded. Guests: Casey Grant, Author of "Stars in the Sky: Stories of the First African American Flight Attendants," and one of the first African American flight attendants at Delta Air Lines. Patricia Banks Edmiston, one of the very first Black stewardesses who bravely took Capital Airlines to court to earn her wings and open the skies for other African American women.
