Pat Higgins has worked in low-budget horror movies for the last decade and a half. From the production hell of 'Strippers vs Werewolves' through to uncredited Hollywood rewrites and his latest project 'Powertool Cheerleaders vs the Boyband of the Screeching Dead', Pat has spent so much time paddling around in the shallow end of the film industry that his fingers have gone all wrinkly. Here's here to tell you the truth, and to bring some guests with him!
I once made a movie which I then destroyed at its own premiere.
The House on the Witchpit spent 10 years in development hell, then got made before being shown once and destroyed. I've never really talked about the story behind the oddest film on my CV, so here I shed a bit of light into my own personal '3am Panic Attack' which is currently still unavailable anywhere in any format.

Episode 3: Hellbride and Bloody Weddings
No amount of filming actual weddings can prepare you for the nerve-shredding experience of filming a fake one. Particularly when there are a few additional ingredients in the mix; namely ghosts, gangsters, guns and gore. See, just because those elements are there too, the real problem is that the other things that you have to worry about with weddings don’t go away.
Writer/Director Pat Higgins spends the episode looking back at the production of his 2006 horror rom-com Hellbride.

Episode 2: The Octopus Scene from The Goonies and nothing else
This is 32 minutes of the middle-aged writer of Strippers vs Werewolves talking about the deleted octopus scene from The Goonies. No guests. No other topics (except brief diversions to discuss other octopus scenes and a tiny bit about Darth Vader). You will not get anything OTHER than 32 minutes of the middle-aged writer of Strippers vs Werewolves talking about the deleted octopus scene from The Goonies if you listen to this podcast. I think we've been quite clear about this.
