Wie?So! mit SRF-Korrespondentin Karin Wenger
Karin Wenger hat in ihren beinahe 20 Jahren als Reporterin Menschen in den verschiedensten Gegenden der Welt kennengelernt.<br /><br />Zunächst als freie Journalistin im Nahen Osten. Danach als Korrespondentin für Radio SRF in Süd-Asien von Neu-Delhi aus. Später dann aus Südostasien mit Basis in Bankok.<br /><br />Sie hat Krisen, Umweltkatastrophen und Konflikte beobachtet und hat es dabei geschafft, dass ihre Geschichten einen Winkel beleuchten, der häufig bis nie gehört wird.Seit der Corona-Pandemie ist sie wieder in der Schweiz und hat soeben ein weiteres Buch veröffentlicht. Es handelt von Menschen in Extremsituationen, die Karin im Verlauf der Jahre getroffen hat. Es heisst «Bis zum nächsten Monsun» (Stämpfli Verlag).Jetzt, zurück in der Schweiz, haben wir Karin Wenger gefragt wie sie ihre Arbeit macht und wie sie die oft so speziellen Charaktere für ihre Geschichten findet. Mental Health: Was wir mitnehmen
Seit Sommer sprechen wir über Mental Health im Journalismus. Wir sprechen mit euch, ihr sprecht untereinander und wir bemerkten: Die Branche redet jetzt etwas mehr darüber.<br /><br />Das hat auch bei uns selber etwas ausgelöst, und das wollen wir mit euch Zuhause in der warmen Küche oder mit dem Wollschall und Kopfhörern unterwegs teilen. <br /><br />Livia, Gina und Simon haben zu Mental Health mit Branchenvertreterinnen, Expert_innen und mit verdammt mutigen und aufrichtigen Journis gesprochen, und daraus viel mitnehmen dürfen. Die JJS-Studie
Was denken eigentlich Junge Journalistinnen und Journalisten in der Schweiz über ihre Zukunft? Was ist ihnen wichtig beim Beruf und wie sehen ihre Arbeitsbedingungen aus? Das wollten wir wissen und haben deshalb die erste Befragung von Journis U30 in Auftrag gegeben.<br />Die Resultate sind erschreckend. Überstunden und Stress sind an der Tagesordnung.
