<p>There are also passing and defending on netball.</p> <p>Shielding, or defending, is a very underrated skill but it is essential. Good defence prevents your opponents from scoring, and it also gives you the opportunity to gain possession of the ball!</p> <p>There are 5 different types of passes – the chest pass, bounce pass, lob, overhead pass and shoulder pass. Practice drilling (both two handed and single hand) as you will definitely be using all these passes in a game.</p>
