Ahli bahasa modern pun berhasil merekonstruksi kosakata Olmec kuno ini pada lembar sejarah kakao dunia.

Kundera lahir di Cekoslovakia pada 1 April 1929, sampai saat ini Kundera masih produktif menulis di usia 91 tahun. Novelis Cekoslovakia ini menjadi eksil di Perancis sejak 1975, dan menjadi warga negara Perancis hingga kini. Buku-buku karya Kundera dilarang oleh rezim Komunis di Cekoslovakia, hingga kejatuhan rezim Komunis pada Revolusi Belundru 1989.
