Van de naweeën van apartheid, de ongelijkheid tussen arm en rijk tot de fantastische buurtinitiatieven; al mijn ervaringen en overdenkingen zullen aan bod komen.</p> <p><strong>In deze aflevering<br> </strong>De start van de serie omvat twee verhalen, die de strijd en geweld in Kaapstad omschrijven. De impact van geweld, de naweeën van Mandela’s strijd tegen ongelijkheid en de verstikkende omgeving voor kinderen hebben mij in de eerste weken van mijn reis het meest geraakt.</p> <p>De twee verhalen in deze aflevering laten de onmacht zien van Zuid-Afrikanen, en hun toevlucht naar geweld en criminaliteit. Het laat de moeite zien met de grote toestroom van toeristen en de aanhoudende ongelijkheid, en het zoeken naar manieren om te overleven. Nu is de vraag, zijn deze mensen volledig verantwoordelijk voor hun daden of zijn ze slachtoffer van de samenleving. Laat het weten in de reacties!</p> <p>In volgende afleveringen laat ik de andere kant van Kaapstad zien: buurtbewoners die kinderen opvangen, onderwijzen en voeden.
