   Djin Fire Series Ep.1

The Real Thief of Baghdad and the Alchemists of the Orient A 25-minute telling of two stories — and one uncomfortable mirror. In this episode I bring you two tales: the true thief of Baghdad, and the alchemists of the Orient. One steals treasure; the other promises to make it. Between them lies a question worth more than either. Strip away the glass towers, the apps, the silk-enameled language of progress, and listen: the motives are the same as they ever were. Greed wearing a suit. Hope wearing a laboratory coat. A world sophisticated in its tools, unchanged in its appetites. We have not outgrown the old stories. We have only given them better lighting. Pour something warm, settle in, and let the record play. — Listen now, and see if the mirror blinks. The next Djin Fire Episode is open to debate. What’s your call? Listen to the podcast and then let me know if you want to hear the next suggested story or another historical adventure. The Red God and the Valkyrie

Where? Why? What happened? Some stories don't ask for permission—they drag you in. This is one of them.Seven years in Japan. Seven years of protecting Honshu island from forces most people don't believe exist. Seven years of standing between the world and what was trying to break through. Then came the visions.A golden shield maiden's face embossed on a disc of living energy, holding back catastrophic tidal waves. Threads of light forming a thatchwork circuit on the inner screen of my eyelids. Three women emerging from darkness with a bowl of all-giving knowledge beneath a blue-hued moon.I said no to the knowledge. I said yes to the power. What followed was a descent into darkness I never saw coming—and a revelation that would change everything I thought I knew about reality, runes, and the thin veil between this world and the next. This is what happened… Thanks for reading KEEP THE MAGICK HIGH!™!
