<p>El más grande terremoto registrado en el mundo, sucedió aquí, en el sur de Chile, un 22 de mayo de 1960. Fue un movimiento de 9,5 grados en escala de Richter, seguido por un gran tsunami y la erupción del cordón del caulle. Nuestra geografía cambió para siempre, pero Valdivia y otras ciudades afectadas, lograron levantarse. </p> <p>La Fundación Proyecta Memoria junto a la Seremi de las Culturas, Artes y Patrimonio de la Region de los Ríos, te da la bienvenida a "Ruta 1960: la memoria salva vidas", un recorrido por seis hitos en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Valdivia, donde guiados por Marcelo Lagos, rememoramos el antes y el después del terremoto a través de lugares, datos científicos y el saber de habitantes que allí estuvieron.
