Hola, sabías que las arterias son vasos por los que circula la sangre del corazón a los tejidos con el oxigeno y los nutrientes requeridos para estos. Contamos con 31 arterias en todo el cuerpo humano las cuales se dividen en: *Las arterias elásticas, las de mayor calibre, son la aorta y sus ramas. La principal función de estas arterias es la conducción de la sangre del corazón a las arterias de mediano calibre. *Las arterias musculares, de calibre intermedio, que regulan el flujo sanguíneo en las distintas partes del cuerpo. *Las arteriolas que son las que influyen directamente en nuestra presión sanguínea. *Las capilares tienen funciones directas sobre los pulmones, riñones, intestino y tejidos. Las más importantes son la Aorta, arteria ilíaca interna, arteria renal, arteria pulmonar ,arteria femoral, arteria axilar ,arteria subclavia y la arteria carótida primitiva. Las venas son vasos del sistema circulatorio que apoyan la circulación transportando la sangre hacia el corazón,la sangre que fluye por el sistema circulatorio transporta nutrientes, oxígeno y agua a las células de todo el cuerpo. Contamos con 35 venas y donde se reparten son en el miembro superior izquierdo: venas profundas Miembro superior derecho: venas superficiales en el lado izquierdo de la cabeza: venas profundas en el lado derecho de la cabeza: venas superficiales. Alguna de las más importantes son la vena cava superior ,la yugular, vena pulmonar , safena y la femoral.
