Before You Go Further: The Moments That Made Us

Before you go further — here is where we came from.

This is not a regular episode. It is the one we are using to stop, look back, and remind you — and ourselves — exactly why we started.

In this compilation from Episodes 1 through 13, we revisit the three threads that have run through every conversation we have had on this podcast:

Where we came from. What it took to keep going. And the people who made it possible.

If you are new here, this is the best place to start.
If you have been here from the beginning, this one is for you.

And if you have ever wondered whether the thing you are building is worth it — listen to what happened when two women decided to go anyway.

June is coming. The conversation we have been building toward since Episode 1 starts next week.

Lead boldly. Love deeply. Live your legacy.

Subscribe so you do not miss what is next.
@leadlovelegacy

#L3Podcast #WomensLeadership #PodcastCompilation #BestOf #LeadLoveLegacy #WomenEntrepreneurs #PersonalDevelopment

Stop Waiting for Permission to Be Unstuck

Getting unstuck is not a moment. It is a decision. Made quietly, imperfectly, over and over again before the ducks are in a row, before anyone is watching, before you can see the other side.

In this episode, Aly and Andrea get personal. Andrea opens up about one of the most defining moments of her life. The day someone she loved looked her in the eye and told her she would never be successful in the industry she had given everything to. Not a stranger. Not a comment on the internet. Someone who was supposed to be in her corner.

She didn't argue. She got out of bed the next morning. And the one after that. And she started building slowly, without a clear plan, without permission, until the day she stood in Wembley Arena with a microphone in her hand, surrounded by tens of thousands of people, doing exactly what she was told she couldn't.

This is that conversation.

In this episode:

Why getting unstuck is rarely a line-in-the-sand moment for most people and why that is completely okay

The Stuck Ducks. The ones keeping you stuck, quietly asking for permission to live the life you actually want

Forgiveness as a tool and not as tolerance. Why Andrea couldn't move forward until she understood the difference

The distinction between being an actual victim and living with a victim mentality. Why it matters and how to shift the one you can actually control

Why moving toward what you want will always feel better than running from what you don't

The one thing Andrea's daughter said at Wembley that stopped her in her tracks

What risk looks like when it is backed by the right people, the right intention, and the willingness to say yes now and figure out the rest after

Why no one ever gave you permission to stay small. And no one needs to give you permission to go big

This is not a conversation about having it all together. It is a conversation about what happens when you decide, even imperfectly, even one small win at a time, that you deserve more than where you are right now.

Because you do.

This is for the woman who cannot yet see the arena. Who is just trying to get out of bed, make the kids breakfast, and hold something steady. Who is tired of being told the storm doesn't last forever when she hasn't figured out how to get to forever yet. This one is for her.

The ducks are not in a row. They are never going to be in a row. Move anyway.

Lead boldly. Love deeply. Live your legacy. 🤍

What is the one small win you need to stop and celebrate today, right now, wherever you are in the journey?

🎧 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming. The Weight Nobody Sees: The Invisible Load Parents Carry

You are carrying more than anyone can see.

The emotional weight. The logistics nobody assigned you but somehow became yours. The second-guessing you do in silence. The personal development work that happens not in a journal but in the car, between drop-offs, between decisions, between versions of yourself you are still figuring out.

This episode is about naming it. Because you cannot put something down that you have never let yourself pick up out loud.

In this episode:

What the invisible load actually is and why it is so hard to talk about

Why the mental load is boundaryless and why it follows you into rest, sleep, and time off, not just the busy parts of your day

Andrea opens up about her own invisible load: building and leading a major event production business as a legally blind woman and single mom. The weight she carried for years that nobody around her could see

The first step toward feeling like yourself again. Not someday. This season

This one is for the woman doing more than anyone around her knows.

If you found us through a women's leadership podcast search or stumbled in from somewhere else entirely, you are in the right place. This is for the one building a business, raising a family, managing the invisible, and becoming a version of herself she can actually respect, all at once. For the ones who want both the strategy and the soul.

If you have been carrying it alone, wondering if anyone else feels this weight.

They do. We promise. They do.

💬 What does your invisible load look like right now? Drop it in the comments. We read every single one.

🎧 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming.
