Elmer es un niño que vive en carne propia la exclusión, es tímido, se mantiene a la distancia con sus compañeros de escuela, Elmer presenta el Síndrome de Tourette, el cual le hace producir sonidos aleatoriamente de manera frecuente, es una anomalía en el sisitema nerviso, sus compañeron no entienden su condición por ello es exculido, Elmer corre con la suerte de hablar con el director de la escuela quien de inmediato lo incluye y lo ayuda a que los demás entiendan lo que le gusta, lo que le molesta y sus habilidades y fortalezas como ser humano. El sueño de Elmer es llegar a convertirse en un excelente docente
