S3E29 - Obsessed with Kpop Idols and their "perfect" worlds - why?

Episode Notes Why is K-pop so addicting? It’s more than just catchy music—there’s a whole psychological and emotional pull that draws us in. In this video, I’ll dive deep into the reasons why we get hooked on K-pop idols, the parasocial relationships we form with them, and the carefully curated world they live in. From the polished personas to the fantasy they create, I’ll break down how the entertainment industry designs K-pop to be irresistible. Whether you're a casual listener or a hardcore fan, this video will help you understand the magic behind the K-pop world and why it has such a powerful hold on us. Timestamps: 0:00:00 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb_yPr1lxmM&t=0s) - My own story, obsession with kpop idols back in the day. Episode Notes Do you constantly find yourself attracted to emotionally unavailable people? You know, the ones who give you just enough to keep you hooked but never fully commit? In this video, I’ll break down the psychology behind why we’re drawn to these kinds of relationships, including childhood patterns, low self-worth, fear of intimacy, and the addictive chase for validation. Key takeaways: Whether you’ve struggled with emotionally unavailable partners in the past or you want to understand why you’re stuck in a painful cycle, this video will help you make sense of your patterns and start your journey to healing :) ===================================== 🎉Grab the Breaking up with Limerence Book & Start healing today: https://abstractedcollective.com/how-...
