<p>Als jullie niet bij ons langs kunnen komen. Dan komen we toch bij jullie? Daarom gaan we weer On the road. Ter inspiratie, ter verdieping, of misschien ter kennismaking. Samen met de gemeente Eindhoven hebben we ons verdiept in een thema dat hoog op de bestuurlijke agenda’s staat: ‘brede welvaart’. Hoe abstract kun je het hebben? Laten wij daar als wijkambtenaren nou voor zijn gemaakt om ambtelijk en abstract jargon tastbaar te maken. Maar hoe doe je dat achter je scherm? Op maandagmiddag 8 maart ging LPB On the road naar Eindhoven. We spraken met wethouder Yasin Torunoglu en gemeenteraadslid Samir Toub. Ze zaten bij elkaar in de klas op de basisschool in een achterstandswijk van Eindhoven. Ze zijn elkaar via een heel verschillende route weer tegengekomen in de Eindhovense politiek. Wat betekent de brede welvaart in de buurt voor hen? Toen en nu? Is het beter geworden in de buurt waar ze opgroeiden? Of hebben we hier nog veel te doen? </p>

Sanne ten Zijthof is nog maar net begonnen in de wijk Colmschate Zuid in Deventer, hoe is het om in Corona-tijd wijkambtenaar te zijn? En met Lenneke van der Meer van LPB en Thijs van Mierlo van LSA hebben we het over de betekenis van de buurt, van buurtinitiatieven en hoe belangrijk het is om er te zijn. </p>
