<p>As portarias MEC 1718/2019 e 62/2020 revolucionaram a oferta de cursos técnicos no Brasil. Antigamente, para um curso técnico ser autorizado a funcionar eram necessários de 1 a 3 anos de espera em um dos 26 conselhos estaduais de educação da federação brasileira. A partir dessas portarias, qualquer instituição de ensino superior com IGC maior ou igual a 3, e cursos de graduação autorizados com conceito de curso (ou CPC) maior que 3, podem oferecer cursos técnicos correspondentes a essas graduações a qualquer tempo, bastando, para isto, cadastrar os projetos pedagógicos desses cursos técnicos no SISTEC, o sistema de registro e acompanhamento de cursos técnicos do MEC. Para explicar melhor esse assunto, eu conversei com os professores Rainer Marinho e Joana Alves em um bate-papo instrutivo, fortemente recomendado para dirigentes e mantenedores de faculdades, centros universitários e universidades, interessados no mercado de mais de 100 milhões de possíveis estudantes para a formação profissional técnica de nível pós-médio ou subsequente.</p>
