Fadwa Souleimane (Alepo, Siria, 1972), es actriz, poeta y activista. Con descendencia alauita, ha sido partícipe de numerosas protestas, incluida la protesta mayoritariamente sunní en contra de Bashar al-Assad en Homs, a causa de lo cual fue condenada a muerte en su país natal. Desde el año 2012 ha sido asilada política en Francia, convirtiéndose en uno de los rostros más representativos de la Guerra Civil Siria. En el año 2014 publicó en la editorial Le Soupirail el recuento de poemas À la pleine lune, de la cual presentamos una selección traducida al español por Gustavo Osorio.
