Cleaning House
<p>We all have heard the old saying "sweep around your own front porch before you come to mine" or "if you live in a glass house, you shouldn't throw stones". In short these sayings tell us that we must fix our own issues before we begin the pursuit of fixing the issues of others. "Is Hypersexuality the New "N" Word?
<p>We all know the controversy of the 'n' word, depending on the ending, the intent can be changed. In an attempt to take lemons and make lemonade, the 'n' word is used by some in the Black community as a term of endearment. In the same vain, we know that Black women have been objectified and sexualized for centuries. Today celebrities attempt to take that which has historically had negative connotations and have attempted to turn this hypersexuality into women's empowerment.
