About Magic In The Madness
Magic in the Madness was created in the desire to tell my truth and share my experiences. Hosted by Andrea Sarmiento, this podcast, I will discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. I will share my triumphs and tribulations as a 20-something-year old because when it all may seem like hot madness in the moment, there is always some magic to discover too. This is a journey we all are separately going through, yet still share similar life experiences. You are not alone. You can find @magicmadnesspodcast on Instagram

The Importance Of Investing in Your Health
EPISODE 12 | Welcome to Magic in the Madness with your host Andrea Sarmiento. This week I dive deep into the concept of investing in your health (especially as a 20-something). What does investing in your health mean? Should I be concerned with my health in my 20s even if I'm relatively healthy? Why should I pay the premium for my health insurance if I'm just getting by with the amount I earn? I answer these questions and more. As a 26-year-old in America who recently just beat cancer and purchased her own health insurance, I have a few things to say and I come with a few stories of my own to tell. Feel free to let me know what you think of this weeks episode by reaching out on Instagram @magicmadnesspodcast. Doing What Scares You & How To Stop Living In Perpetual Fear
EPISODE 11 | Welcome to Magic in the Madness with your host Andrea Sarmiento. This week I kick off season 2 with a much needed life update (being in remission, my hair journey post - chemo, starting a business & more). I dive deep into the fear of uncertainty and unfamiliarity and provide a few helpful tools to help us stop living in perpetual fear in order to level up and be the person that we've always wanted to be with the things that we've always wanted to have. Why should I take the leap of faith? What are the consequences of not doing something that scares me, but that I've always wanted to do? What if I continue doing what I'm comfortable with? How do I rewire my beliefs? How do I know what my beliefs are? All of these questions and more are answered in this episode! Feel free to let me know what you think of this weeks episode and thank you so much for tuning in!!! Immigration, Miscarriages, and Motherhood feat. My Mom
EPISODE 9 | Welcome To Magic in the Madness with your host Andrea Sarmiento. This week my mom joins me on the podcast for a very special Mother's Day edition episode (and because it's AAPI Heritage Month)!! Maria Chloe Baloco Sarmiento, is 55 years young. She is a nurse, a world traveler, and of course my hardworking and caring mom. We dive deep today and ask a lot of questions of which I never had the answers to before. Why did she come to the US? How was the immigration process for her? How did she feel giving birth without any family in the country close by to support her? In what ways were her multiple miscarriages challenging? What is her favorite thing about being a mom? What is her wish for all of her children as we get into relationships, move away, and get older? All of these questions and more are answered in this episode. Let me know what you all think and thank you for listening!!! Can We Do It All?
EPISODE 7 | Welcome to Magic in the Madness with your host Andrea Sarmiento. This week I've been doing so much and feeling overwhelmed in the concept of having to do it all. Is it hustle culture? Have I been influenced by my immigrant parents and the mentality that I can do anything? Or have I been shamed into needing to be perfect in order to reach some sort of collective goal? Doing it all is hard and stressful and can cause lots of anxiety, but I'm here to tell you that you're not alone and I feel it too. Tune in every week for a new episode and follow this podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts to get notified when a new episode drops!
