Cubs Still Have Much to Prove
Even with the 11th-hour signing of Marcus Stroman before the arbitrary December 1st deadline, the #Cubs haven't shown they're "in it to win it" quite yet. Stroman Signing is Intelligent Spending
[NOTE: Apologies for Smitty's shitty audio quality as we had some technical difficulties we were unaware of at the time of recording. We'll do better next time.]

Who Are The Cubs?

McLeod of Mystery
Jason McLeod had always been the shadowy figure of the Theo & Co regime. While Epstein and Hoyer reveled in the spotlight for the Cubs Golden Age, McLeod was rarely heard from and became an easy scapegoat for the organization’s few shortcomings. Now his departure raises more questions than answers.

New GM Bolsters Bureaucracy
The Cubs plugged a hole in their massive org chart with another generic white guy. The only question is can new GM, Carter Hawkins actually fix what Theo Epstein, Jed Hoyer, and Jason McLeod couldn’t?
