<p>セリフの量は、どれぐらいが適量なのか。多い・少ないはどう判断すべきなのか。一般的には少ないほど良しとされますが、『銀魂』のようにセリフ量の多さこそが魅力となっている作品も少なからず存在します。</p><p><br /></p><p>しかし、雰囲気や量だけを安易に真似してしまうと、大失敗の要因に。</p><p><br /></p><p>そんなセリフの要・不要を見分けるポイントになるのが、「読み飛ばされてもいいセリフ」なのか、「読み飛ばされると悔しいセリフ」なのか。</p><p><br /></p><p>セリフの量は背景の描き込みと同じです。いくらでも書き足せるからこそ、多い・少ないではなく、「必要な情報を、必要なだけ伝えられているか」で判断しましょう。</p><p><br /></p><p>とはいえ、密度・テンポ・位置などの違いだけで、同じテキストでも印象が大きく異なってくるのが、セリフの面白さであり難しさ。</p><p><br /></p><p>テキスト自体がどれだけ魅力的でも、ほんの少しそれらがズレただけで、作品としては失敗になってしまうことも珍しくありません。</p><p><br /></p><p>セリフを考えるときは、量の多い・少ないよりも、それだけ繊細な「演出」作業に取り組んでいるという意識のほうを、ぜひお忘れなく！</p>

<p>プロの漫画家なら誰もが当たり前に描いているのに、初心者ほど描くのを見落としてしまいがちな感情。それが「ワクワク」です。描き手自身がそれを描こうと意識できていない限り、読み手をワクワクさせることは絶対にできません。</p><p><br /></p><p>しかし、SNSで「共感」を呼ぶ漫画ほどバズりやすいという影響もあってか、「ワクワク」を意識しないまま漫画を描く人が増えている印象です。</p><p><br /></p><p>重要なのは、受動的なワクワクではなく、自ら能動的に「今日ワクワクしたこと」を探し、ストックしていく習慣づくりです。</p><p><br /></p><p>今日あった自分がワクワクした瞬間を、あなたはいくつ挙げることができますか？</p><p><br /></p><p>自らワクワクを見つけにいこうという意識がない限り、なかなか答えにくい質問だと思います。</p><p><br /></p><p>まずは自らのワクワクに気づく、あるいは自らワクワクをつくる。その意識こそが、プロの漫画家に必要な感情のストックを増やしていくのではないでしょうか。日常の中で常にワクワクを意識し、自らワクワクな人生を過ごせるようになっていきましょう！</p>

<p>漫画を描く時、テーマやモチーフに対してどれぐらい調べてから描くべきなのか？ 初心者ほど調べずに描いてしまう傾向はあるそうですが、調べすぎるほど本題からどんどん遠くなってしまい、時間だけがかかってしまう懸念も。</p><p><br></p><p>当然ながら明確な答えがあるわけではない問いですが、１つの判断ポイントにしたいのが「機能が理解できているかどうか」という点。ある程度それを掴めていれば描けるでしょうし、わからなければ描けないはずです。</p><p><br></p><p>取材の多くも、「これはどうなっているのか」と機能を知るために行われるものではないでしょうか。そして同時に、「感情」を理解することも重要です。</p><p><br></p><p>感情は目に見えるものではありませんが、感情が想像だけで描かれた作品ほど、「作者の空想」を読まされたような印象を受けるのではないでしょうか。</p><p><br></p><p>そんなわけで今回は、「原作者のポジションって、相当そのテーマやモチーフを調べ込んでないとダメなのでは……？」という不安から生じた疑問について、話し合っています！</p>
