This one is for the DADS.
In Episode 13 of Let’s Talk About It, we're doing something a little different. We're calling this one the DADCAST, and we're talking about the incredibly important role fathers play in the lives of their children.
Being a father is about much more than providing a paycheck or simply living under the same roof. A present and involved dad can help shape a child's confidence, character, discipline, relationships, education, and understanding of what it means to love and be loved.
We'll look at statistics surrounding father involvement and father absence, discuss some of the challenges facing dads today, and—most importantly—look at what the Bible says about fatherhood.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
None of us gets fatherhood right all the time. We make mistakes. We lose our patience. We wonder whether we're doing enough. But our children don't need perfect fathers—they need present fathers willing to love them, teach them, discipline them, encourage them, protect them, and lead by example.
And dads, don't underestimate your importance.
Your kids are watching.
Your kids are learning.
Your kids need you.
Being a father may be one of the most important jobs God will ever give you.

In this unscripted episode of Let’s Talk About It, we dive into the mysterious world of ghosts and the paranormal from a Christian perspective. People have reported strange encounters for thousands of years—voices with no apparent source, shadowy figures, unexplained movements, haunted locations, and experiences that seem impossible to explain. But just because something appears supernatural doesn't necessarily tell us what it is. We discuss what the Bible says about death and the spiritual world, including angels and demons, communicating with the dead, mediums and spiritists, and some of Scripture's strangest supernatural accounts. We also tackle the big questions: Do the dead remain among us? Could some “ghost” encounters have ordinary explanations? Could others involve spiritual deception? And how should Christians respond when confronted with something they can't explain?
