The Premier League is chaotic, St. Louis City SC is a work in progress, and we have opinions about all of it.
Mecca of Banter is a weekly soccer podcast covering every Premier League matchweek — title races, relegation battles, managerial meltdowns, transfer drama — plus St. Louis City SC every single week, no exceptions. We're one of the only podcasts in the US doing both.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Liverpool are all represented. No echo chamber, no agenda, no safe takes. Somebody is wrong every week and has to defend it.
New episodes every Tuesday. Five seasons in.

2026 World Cup Preview
The World Cup starts in 48 hours — and so does our summer of coverage.
Henry and Hoov go group by group through all 12 groups, break down the USMNT's real chances under Pochettino (spoiler: they're cautiously optimistic), and make their picks for tournament winner, biggest flop, and the dark horses worth watching.
The takes: Portugal wins it if they have the guts to bench Ronaldo. Germany is going to disappoint. Norway is a legitimate quarter-final threat. Ivory Coast is the most fun team in the tournament. Turkey is terrifying for the USA. And Scotland — at their first World Cup in decades — is already playing bagpipes in the streets of Boston, which is exactly the energy this whole summer needs.
Plus: Mecca of Banter just picked up 2,000 new Twitter followers overnight. If you're new here, welcome. Henry and Hoov grew up in St. Louis, played the game, have been talking footy in a group chat for over a decade, and finally put a microphone in front of it. New episodes every Monday.
Subscribe. It's going to be a big summer.
