<p>Травма у перекладі з грецької означає «рана». Коли ми ламаємо ногу, період відновлення займає немалий час і обов’язково потребує відповідного ставлення і турботи. Коли ми переживаємо інтенсивний стрес і емоційне потрясіння, наша психіка створює нам такий буфер, таку підтримку, щоб ми максимально встояли і не зламались. Весь людський організм має величезний запас стійкості, щоб вижити, зберегти життя. Але психологічне потрясіння є не менш руйнівної сили, аніж удар, який ламає кістки. </p><p>Невидимий вбивця - так назвав стрес відомий нейробіолог, викладач Стенфордського університету Роберт Сапольські.
