Tetapi bukan hanya ‘revolusi’ melainkan ‘revolusi spasial’, dan lebih spesifik lagi ‘revolusi urban’ (hal. 86)–dalam pemahaman urban yang kritis. Dalam termin revolusi yang demikian spesifik, Smith mengindikasikan bahwa perebutan moda produksi berarti mengikuti arus modal yang terus bergerak dalam konsep urban. Dan sepertinya bukanlah sebuah revolusi yang mudah untuk dikerjakan, mengingat semenjak buku Neil Smith ditulis sekitar 25 tahun lalu, arus modal menjadi semakin tidak terkendali. <p>Berikut merupakan pembacaan tulisan berjudul Hak Atas Kota dari David Harvey yang diterjemahkan oleh Iswantoro yang dalam versi bahasa Inggris-nya dimuat di New Left Review. Dalam tulisan tersebut Harvey merebut kembali makna 'hak' yang cenderung individual atas dipahaminya 'kota/urban'. Juga merebut kembali makna hak atas kota untuk menjadi tawaran revolusioner seperti juga digaungkan Levebre yang mana untuk mengubah sesuatu kita perlu mengubah ruang. Sesuatu itu haruslah urban.
