Ep 6: The Aussie Live Music Experience + Pre/Post COVID Live Events.
<p>This week we talk about a whole range of historic, iconic, tiny, massive, gigantic and classic NSW & AUS music venues, from here in Sydney, to Byron Bay and Western Australia. We have a chat about all types of music events here in AUS from our favourite festivals, concerts and live gig experiences in the past, reminiscing and going down memory lane, telling you guys our own experiences at some of the most awesome venues in Sydney. From Enmore Theatre, Oxford Art Factory, Qudos Bank Arena, Horden Pavillion, The Lansdowne, and so many more. We touch on these venues and their historical origins, to their unique flares and touches, and what makes them so enjoyable & memorable. We also have a chat about some new fantastic innovative concepts that have come out of COVID, and the recent Aussie Bushfires, from social-distancing festivals here in AUS and Internationally. To recent Drive-Thru concerts that our local boys 'Hockey Dad' have organised in Wollongong, to virtual events like 'Isol-aid' and a new Western Australian concept, for 'Good Day Sunshine Festival', featuring an Aussie festival first; 'turntable stage' (like woah). <p>This week we talk all about our favourite TV series that feature some nostalgic, classic, peculiar, fresh and iconic soundtracks that are both unforgettable and unmissable to any fan. We start with some older series from Gilmore Girls to the classic Friends "I'll be there for you", moving into newer series, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, Dear White People, Atlanta as well as a whole array of other tv series that feature diverse music genres and flavours like no other, as well as some famous music cameos. We end the episode discussing our new favourite tv series; Euphoria, and it's magical soundtrack that both moves and grooves us, as well as the significant effect music, can have on making or breaking a TV show.
