اليمن: مياه تبخّرت
يأخذنا محمد علي محروس إلى تعز في اليمن، التي تعاني نقصاً حاداً في المياه. هذا التراجع يعود إلى سببين رئيسيين، الأول هو انخفاض كمية المتساقطات التي كانت تضخ المياه إلى عشرات لا بل مئات الآبار التي حفرت منذ عقود في تلك المنطقة لتأمين حاجات السكان.أما السبب الثاني فهو الحرب المستمرة منذ سنوات في اليمن. فتصارع الميليشيات على مصادر المياه جعلها أداة حرب بيد المتقاتلين، لا سيما في محافظة تعز التي ترتوي من آبار جفت بعدما توقف امدادها المياه.

في هذه الحلقة من "بودكاست"، نجول مع هدير المهدوي على شواطئ الإسكندرية المهدّدة بالغرق في بحرها، وعلى المناطق الزراعية المحيطة بها.أدى التغير المناخي الذي تشهده المنطقة، إلى ارتفاع سطح البحر وارتفاع ملوحة التربة في الأراضي الزراعية، الأمر الذي بات يشكل تهديداً فعلياً للإنتاج الزراعي، ومصدر رزق عشرات الآلاف. وقد تمت تلك الجولة على وقع انعقاد قمة المناخ في مصر، التي يُفترض أنها التأمت لإيجاد حلول لكوارث التغيير المناخي. هذا البودكاست هو نتيجة تعاون بين "درج" و " وترة".
