Podcast Overview

Welcome to Multi-Mind: Mental Wellness For The Multi-Hyphenate. If you're a consultant AND an educator AND a business owner—and maybe three other things—this podcast is for you. You're juggling multiple ventures, wearing multiple hats, and somewhere between your third Zoom call and your fifth business decision of the day, you realized something: your mental wellness isn't keeping up with your ambition. WHAT WE COVER Every Monday, host Artis Desjardins brings you 10 minutes of real talk about the mental wellness challenges specific to running multiple businesses: - Identity Integration – How do you maintain a sense of self when you're wearing five different professional hats? - Energy Economics – How do you allocate mental bandwidth when every venture is screaming for attention? - Decision Fatigue – How do you make good choices when you're making 10x more decisions than single-venture entrepreneurs? - The Messy Middle – What do you do when multiple businesses are struggling at once? When imposter syndrome hits you in three different industries simultaneously? - Sustainable Systems – What mental wellness practices actually fit into a life with no routine? WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT This isn't a podcast about productivity hacks or morning routines that require a personal assistant. This is real, empathetic, practical support for the mental gymnastics of running multiple businesses. Some episodes feature solo deep dives into challenges Artis is navigating in real-time—from someone in the trenches building toward self-employment, not speaking from already-achieved success. Others showcase conversations with therapists, coaches, and successful multi-hyphenates who understand this unique journey. And many episodes answer YOUR voice notes and letters, because your struggles are the curriculum. Whether you're thriving and want to optimize, or drowning and need a lifeline, you'll find validation, practical tools, and permission to prioritize your mental wellness without the cookie-cutter BS. WHO THIS IS FOR Multi-Mind is designed for: - Creative entrepreneurs juggling multiple projects - Serial founders running multiple businesses - Side-hustlers with day jobs and passion projects - Portfolio career professionals - Business owners scaling multiple ventures simultaneously If you've ever been asked "So what do you do?" and needed a full minute to answer—this podcast is your sanctuary. Multi-Mind Season 3 Trailer: The Consistency Problem

Season 3 of Multi-Mind is here. And it is the most honest season yet.

Season 1 was about surviving the chaos of running multiple ventures at once. Season 2 was called Build to Last, and it was about building the operational systems that make multi-venture life sustainable.

Season 3 is about what happens after you build the systems.

When you know exactly what to do. And you still cannot stay consistent enough to do it.

That is the consistency problem. And this season we are not going deeper into frameworks and strategy. We are going into the mental and emotional weight of inconsistent income, the identity of being someone who teaches growth while fighting your own, and what it actually looks like to keep building when you are still in the middle of it.

I am not coming to you this season with all the answers. I am coming to you with the real questions I am sitting with right now.

This season, we figure it out together.

Links

YouTube: https://9lnndz.short.gy/t3aC8k

Follow on Instagram: https://9lnndz.short.gy/X3RfEf

Website: multimindpodcast.com

Q2 Audit: Did Your Systems Work?

We started Season 2 with a specific transformation goal: by the end of Q2, you would have operational systems that actually work. Not systems you intended to build. Not frameworks you understood intellectually. Systems that held up under the real pressure of your actual life. Today we measure whether that happened.

The standard for this audit is not perfection. It is not full implementation of every framework from every episode. The real standard is this: did you build at least one operational system this quarter that reduced cognitive load, increased consistency, or enabled progress you would not have made without it? If the answer is yes, Season 2 succeeded. If the answer is no, Season 2 gave you the frameworks and Season 3 is where you build the implementation discipline. Either answer is honest and both are useful.

The Q2 Build to Last Audit has six dimensions, each corresponding to a phase of the season. Systems Foundation. Client Delivery Systems. Client Boundary Architecture. Operating System Consistency. Revenue Architecture Progress. Sustainable Growth Commitment. Rate yourself honestly on all six. The result is not a pass or fail. It is your Q3 development roadmap.

This week's exercise: complete the audit, identify your lowest-scoring dimension, and write down one specific action you will take in the first two weeks of Q3 to improve it.

Two seasons. Two quarters of showing up. You have built something real. Season 3 launches in Q3. We are building toward the full self-employment transition.

Links

YouTube: https://9lnndz.short.gy/t3aC8k

Follow on Instagram: https://9lnndz.short.gy/X3RfEf

Website: multimindpodcast.com

Managing Success Anxiety

Here is what nobody prepares you for. When your ventures start working, when the consulting clients are coming consistently, when the content is getting traction, when the systems are holding, you do not automatically feel confident and calm. A lot of multi-hyphenate entrepreneurs feel the opposite. Anxious. Uncertain. Like they are waiting for it to stop. Like they somehow do not deserve it yet.

That is success anxiety. And it is more common than almost anything else in multi-hyphenate entrepreneurship.

It has three specific sources. Scope expansion fear: as each venture grows, the scope of what needs to be managed expands and the cognitive load of anticipating all the ways that expansion could go wrong is genuinely taxing. Identity disruption: when your ventures shift from side projects to serious businesses, your professional identity shifts too, and that transition is psychologically complex even when it is positive. And sustainability doubt: the question underneath most of it, which is whether what is working now will keep working, or whether the momentum is a temporary convergence of favorable conditions.

In this episode we build the Success Anxiety Management Framework: five components that address success anxiety at both the psychological and operational level so it stops slowing down the building you have worked this entire season to put in place.

This week's integration exercise: name your current success anxiety correctly if it is present, and complete your first Evidence Inventory.

Growth was always the goal. The multi-hyphenate who manages success anxiety well does not experience less of it. They have better tools for navigating it without letting it slow them down.

Links

YouTube: https://9lnndz.short.gy/t3aC8k

Follow on Instagram: https://9lnndz.short.gy/X3RfEf

Website: multimindpodcast.com
