Violencia y silencio en Chiquimula
En algunos departamentos, la autocensura periodística es necesaria para sobrevivir. También lo es no hablar de lo obvio para quienes viven en comunidades donde manda el narco. Eso no les garantiza pero le da esperanza de una vida más larga. Pareciera que, si no se publica ni se menciona el tema, no existe, ni importa.

Tapar el sol con un dedo es el tema del actual gobierno en #Guatemala, que se resiste a reconocer lo que todo el mundo ve: que la corrupción se come al Estado por dentro y castiga a los más vulnerables afuera, porque arrasa con fondos públicos que pueden salvar vidas, y habilita todas las disciplinas del crimen organizado, incluyendo (claro) al #narcotrafico, que también destruye cuanto encuentra a su paso.

El caos en las cárceles refleja que alguien gana con el status quo desde 1996, cuando comenzó la sobrepoblación y empeoró la corrupción interna. No es un tema en agenda, como lo son aquellos que según el gobierno le pueden ayudar a salvarse ante EE.UU., pero no involucran cambios de fondo.
