<p></p><p>Sahir Ludhianvi againnails the occasion and shows the real face of the society to the society in yetanother harsh still true. Sahir Sahab went through very harsh childhood as hisfather left his mother when Sahir Sahab was too young and his mother took thecharge to look after her child all on her own. </p><p> </p><p>The events of hischildhood are visible in his nazms, ghazals and stories. Firaq Gorakhpuri's Sham Bhi Thi Dhuan Dhuan | Nauushad Muntazir
<p>It would have been an epic state of mind when Janab Firaq Gorakhpuri would have made this Ghazal, Sham Bhi Thi Dhuan Dhuan, a reality, an explanation of helplessness of a lover where he is neither able to meet nor able to recall her back, the sher (couplet) that has made this Ghazal so popular is</p> <p> </p> <p>shaam bhī thī dhuāñ dhuāñ husn bhī thā udaas udaas </p> <p>dil ko ka.ī kahāniyāñ yaad sī aa ke rah ga.iiñ </p> <p> </p> <p>This sher (Couplet) alone made the whole ghazal famous.
