Meet the young Guwahati duo who Overcame Local Delivery Challenges with Quickdel

Amidst the Covid pandemic, when the whole nation was on a standstill and everywhere situation was out of control. Two youngsters were busy in fulfilling the basic needs of Guwahati citizens. Out of no where their small idea turned into a start-up plan, with massive response. Ayaan Rahman Hazarika (Founder) and Subroto Chetia (Co-Founder) carried out an amazing initiative of delivery services for local enterprises and owners. Ayaan Hazarika and Subroto Chetia are both students. Ayaan is in his final year of Travel and Tourism Management at Jamia Millia Islamia and Subroto is pursuing B.A. English Honours from Guwahati University. The idea of Quickdel came into existence when Ayaan’s home – baker friend Jakiyyah Ahmed faced delivery issues in her business. She asked for a simple help from Ayaan, to do the delivery part for her business. Ayaan and Subroto were ready to help her, they went door-to-door for deliveries in pandemic with proper safety guidelines.
