<p>The story begins to unfold as Yojon reveals to the team the Photron project.</p> <p><strong>Lexicon:</strong></p> <p>* Scanners - peripheral devices that pick up audio and visual information and thus transmit across the Grid for prying eyes and ears (eXos are allowed turn this off for limited privacy, but the overall eXo is always processing and part of the Grid for access, processing, and routing)</p> <p>* Quiescence - The emitters are set to change color to a certain pattern when quiessent so that others can be assured that they are not being recorded, however, the long periods of quiessence will warn the authorities that something unusual is going on. Went one sleeps, autosensors detect the sleep state via brainwaves and the GRID is informed that one is in autorized prolonged quiescence</p> <p>* 'gram - slang short for ingram, a memory</p> <p>* quiState - prolonged period of unauthorized quiescence</p> <p>* geoPoint - a specific GPS coordinate</p> <p>* Gyros - slang for gryo-copters, the official transportation device for the enforcers (all others travel via mass transit)</p> <p><strong>Setting:</strong></p> <p>The gathering moves into the subDome, which is a smaller dome attached to the main dome (multiDome dwellings are common).They look at each other puzzled but with excitement. They are not ready for what he shows them. Yojon projects the schematic holograph into their midst and explains the basic device but does not reveal the source. He is excited with great zeal and is convincing to the recruitment of all present. He explains the dangers but also the joy of the experience to come. They are rapt with attention and unbelief and fear since this is the most astonishing machine that they have ever imagined.</p>
