Sanne Blom is bij ons aangeschoven om te vertellen over haar werk als voorzitter van de Stomavereniging. Zij heeft ook zelf een stoma door de ziekte van Crohn. Nadat haar stoma was opgeheven, vond ze haar leven met stoma eigenlijk beter en heeft ze de artsen gevraagd om haar stoma terug te plaatsen! Sanne bokst fanatiek in de bokschool, maar je hoort in deze aflevering ook hoe ze daarbuiten knokt ze voor alle stomadragers in Nederland!

Roeland, oud-bankier en inmiddels tuinman, kreeg zijn stoma van chirurg Helma van Grevenstein vanwege dikke darmkanker. Hij maakt zich niet druk om zijn stoma en laat ons zien hoe ongecompliceerd het leven met een stoma kan zijn. Het was in het begin even aftasten, maar al snel heeft Roeland de motorzaag weer opgepakt!
