Teori vygotsky
Lev Vygotsky adalah seorang psikolog yang berasal dari Rusia dan hidup pada masa revolusi Rusia. Vygotsky dalam menelurkan pemikiran-pemikirannya di dunia psikologi kerap menghadapi rintangan oleh pemerintah Rusia saat itu. Perkembangan pemikirannya meluas setelah ia wafat pada tahun 1934, dikarenakan menderita penyakit TBC. Vygotsky pun sering dihubungkan dengan psikolog Swiss bernama Piaget. Lahir pada masa yang sama dengan Piaget, seorang psikolog yang juga mempunyai keyakinan bahwa keaktifan anak yang membangun pengetahuan mereka. Vygotsky meninggal dalam usia yang cukup muda, yaitu ketika masih berusia tigapuluh tujuh tahun. Vygotsky merupakan satu di antara tokoh konstruktivis. Konstruktivisme adalah argumen bahwa pengetahuan merupakan konstruksi dari seseorang yang mengenal sesuatu. Seseorang yang belajar dipahami sebagai seseorang yang membentuk pengertian/pengetahuan secara aktif dan terus-menerus
