Und genauso wird das Skifest in Saalbach in Erinnerung bleiben. „Fantastisches Publikum, tolle Organisation und hochklassiger Sport. Wir können stolz sein auf das, was da geschafft wurde,“ fasst ÖSV-Präsidentin Roswitha Stadlober die letzten zwei Wochen zusammen. Was bleibt, sind neben den sieben Medaillen für Österreich die überragenden Leistungen der Schweizer. Für die 13. Medaille sorgt heute Slalomass Loic Meillard. „So etwas mit einem Team erleben zu dürfen, ist einmalig,“ ist er sich sicher.
