Off the Cuff, Reflections on the Christian Life

About Off the Cuff, Reflections on the Christian Life

"Off the Cuff" invites you to a weekly casual and unscripted conversation with Missionary, Author and Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Mt. Laurel, NJ - Jeff Kliewer. Pastor Jeff helps us exegete the culture tackling topics relevant to Christians seeking to navigate and make disciples in an increasingly less inviting world. One of Jeff's eleven books is called, "Blood Red Church". In this book he discusses how different types of Christian churches exegete the culture. He describes how Red, Gray and Blue churches honor or dishonor Christ by compromise or faithful obedience. This podcast seeks to serve Christians trying to discern when we have a responsibility to stand for certain non-negotiable ethical positions in the public arena. Many evangelicals are being convinced to appear neutral in the current culture wars. Off the Cuff, reflections on the Christian life invites you to join the conversation. Ep. 02 Blood Red Church

In this episode Pastor Jeff explains the differences between the red, grey and blue churches. This was the focus of one of his 11 books. In that book he explains that red-church position is not popular among many evangelicals today. Instead blue churches are pushing back against certain non-negotiable ethical positions in the public arena. Ep. 3 Egalitarianism

Pastor Jeff defines and contrasts some culturally relevant terms that can be bundled under the heading Egalitarianism. Feminism, Patriarchy, and Complementarianism often mean different things to different people inside and outside of the church. Are these terms biblical? How should Christians rightly view these topics and how do they impact our daily lives as designed by God?
